Tractor Supply Expands Weber Grills in Time for Summer

Tractor Supply Co. has expanded its selection of Weber grilling products to nearly 2,300 stores across the United States. The grills were initially introduced in 500 locations last spring. The current lineup includes a broader range of grills and accessories available both in stores and online.

Among the products now offered nationwide is the Weber Original Kettle Charcoal Grill. Many stores also carry the Spirit E-210 Gas Grill, while other models — such as the Genesis E-315, the 28-inch Griddle and the Smokey Joe portable grill — are available in select locations or online.
In April, 50 stores hosted Weber BBQ Days, featuring live demonstrations and grilling product displays in conjunction with Tractor Supply’s Demo Days.

Exmark Redesigns Lazer Z E-Series Mower

The 2025 Lazer Z E-Series zero-turn mower from Exmark features a complete redesign focused on durability, cut quality and ease of maintenance. As the most affordable model in the Lazer Z lineup, the E-Series is built to meet the needs of both residential and commercial users working in varied mowing conditions.

The mower is available with 48-, 52- or 60-inch UltraCut Series 4 cutting decks. Each deck includes a redesigned discharge chute that promotes more even clipping distribution and a cleaner finished cut. Engine options include commercial-grade Kawasaki and Vanguard V-twin engines, both equipped with heavy-duty canister-style cyclonic air filtration systems for improved performance and reduced maintenance requirements.

A redesigned unibody frame allows easier access to the engine and hydro drive system. Operator comfort is enhanced with a new suspension seat designed to reduce fatigue during extended use. Maintenance is further simplified with just two annual grease points and sealed bearing spindles that require no in-season service.

The 2025 update reflects a continued focus on reliability, functionality and ease of ownership across Exmark’s Lazer Z product family, which has evolved since the original model’s launch in 1995.

Drone Tech Revolutionizes Livestock Mustering

Luke Chaplin, a fourth-generation grazier from Queensland, Australia, has developed the SkyKelpie, a drone-based system designed to assist with livestock mustering. Drawing on years of experience in agricultural operations, Chaplin created the technology to address challenges in managing livestock across large, remote properties.

The system integrates drone technology with behavioral insights into livestock movement, enabling more efficient and less labor-intensive mustering. By using aerial perspectives and real-time monitoring, the system can guide livestock without the need for traditional methods such as horseback or motorbike mustering. This approach reduces stress on animals and minimizes the risk of injury to workers.

Since its introduction, SkyKelpie has managed more than 300,000 livestock and demonstrated a reported return on investment of up to 251%. The system is particularly suited to extensive rangeland environments where terrain and scale make traditional mustering methods time-consuming and costly.

SkyKelpie reflects a growing trend toward the use of unmanned aerial vehicles in agriculture, especially in livestock management. It represents an evolution in how graziers and farmers are applying modern technology to improve productivity, safety and operational efficiency in rural industries.
